What you don't see can't hurt you in Close Your Eyes
Close Your Eyes is a horror-themed puzzle game in which you play a patient in V.I.E.W Laboratories, a mysterious research institution. When a bizarre event strikes the institution, you'll need to find your way through its strange, dark environment while avoiding the Husks, mysterious creatures that want to steal your eyes.
A strange world to explore
Close Your Eyes explores themes of vision and perception. Since the Husks want your eyes, you can avoid the threat of them by keeping your eyes closed. Finding your way around with your eyes closed can be a challenge, but it can also provide advantages: not only are you safe from the Husks, but there are hidden items and symbols you can only see when your eyes are closed. Using these clues and the items you'll find scattered around the facility, you can activate various parts of the complex, find your way out of it, and get to the bottom of the lab's mysterious story.
Confusing but compelling
Husk makes excellent use of its central mechanic, using the eyes-open and eyes-closed states to good effect. The environment is weird and evocative. Some of the puzzles feel a little unclear, and may require tiresome trial and error to solve.
